PORVOO CAMPUS 2010 - Luovuuden, oppimisen ja innovaatioiden living lab

A Living Lab is an open innovation area for user centered innovation in real life scenarios which helps promote user-driven methods and tools for improving the real-world development of products and services.  A Living Lab is also joint development, learning and sharing of best practises.

Porvoo Campus has its own living Lab, Symbio Living Lab,that started in September 2009.  Symbio Living Lab aims to involve the users in the research and development processes which as a result will contribute to the wellness of the people living in the area.

The Symbio Living Lab project, coordinated by HAAGA-HELIA Porvoo Unit and operates in cooperation with Laurea Porvoo unit. The project is funded by State Provincial Office of Southern Finland, and Uusimaa central ELY. Other financiers are HAAGA-HELIA University of Applied Sciences, Laurea University of Applied Sciences, and Posintra Ltd.
